Dan and Rachael are excited to pursue a full-time career position with the Association of Baptists for World Evangelism. Their current assignment is to Togo, West Africa as pilot/mechanic church planters. They will join a seasoned missionary team in Togo that have been involved in medical missions and church planting since 1974. The vision for the Stoners ministry in Togo is based on the concept of flying. Flying is used to go farther, faster. They want to speed existing ministries, making them more efficient. Travel in Togo is arduous, and many times, using the airplane will allow the missionary to avoid many risks (difficult roads, night travel, robbery, etc.). The missionary will arrive refreshed and ready to minister, without the need of a day for recovery from traveling. Use of aviation in Togo will allow the existing ministries to reach farther; to go where missionaries have been unable to access, within Togo and internationally to Ghana, Benin and Burkina Faso.
